KOMO Award- Bob Becker

This KOMO (Keeping The Old Man Out) award goes to 80-year-old Bob Becker of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Bob recently completed the Badwater 135, billed as the world’s toughest foot race.  It is a 135-mile race through a desert in southwestern California  It was around 118 degrees Fahrenheit at the start of the race and the race ended with 13 miles going straight uphill.  Bob recently completed the race in about 45 hours.  Bob is the oldest person to have completed the race.

135 miles.  Through the desert.  At age 80.  Amazing.

Bob is definitely keeping the Old Man out!
